We often think of risks as happening to our organizations, occurring from the outside in.  Unfortunately, as we've seen, that isn't always the case.  A crisis that takes place from within our own team presents very specific challenges and calls for particular steps to prevent such an event from taking place.

This workshop is the third in a series of four risk mitigation workshops.  In this session, we'll focus on how to mitigate your risk of an insider threat as well as how to help your clients do the same.  We'll discuss how to identify insider threats, prevention steps, and the impact on the insurance industry.

At the end of this workshop, you will:

  • understand and identify types of insider threats;
  • assess your organization's vulnerability to an insider threat attack;
  • identify and understand the insurance implications of such an incident; and
  • Identify steps you can take to mitigate your organization's risk and how to help your clients do the same.
