Stories of security breaches and identity theft are constantly in the news. Every insurance producer’s personal lines and commercial lines client needs to be concerned about the resulting loss exposures, and many will ask their agent or broker for advice. Even those who don’t ask should be made aware of the exposure. This course will help insurance agents and brokers provide appropriate advice. A properly informed client is much less likely to bring an E&O claim against his or her insurance representative than one who has been left in the dark.
