This course is designed to help insurance agents and brokers prevent E&O claims that result when a client discovers that his or her cyber exposures were not adequately addressed by insurance or other risk management measures.
This course begins with analyzing policies’ insuring agreements and key provisions, such as insured persons, insured organizations, defense/settlement, coverage limits, and retentions. The course will also examine the most common exclusions found within cyber and privacy policy forms, focusing on the manner in which such wordings vary from insurer-to-insurer, and explaining how these variations exert significant impact on the scope of coverage that cyber and privacy policies provide.
