Data protection and security is of the utmost importance to the independent agent.  All too often, we have a false sense of security, but data protection is critical regardless of agency size, your role within the agency, your agency's jurisdiction, and a number of other factors as well.

During this course, we will focus on privacy concepts, understanding the "so what" of data privacy your agency, and your client interactions.

Following this course, you will:

• Understand the risk and opportunity created by data and data privacy.
• Understand the regulatory environment to help enterprise risk professionals integrate data privacy considerations into their ERM process and implementation.
• Discuss risk appetite and tolerance around data privacy in a manner that supports selection of risk modifications that improve chances of organizational success.
• Understand your role in ensuring effective risk management of data.
