Description

In this four-part course, we will discuss in detail how to minimize E&O claims in the daily operation of an insurance agency.  Starting with agency E&O basics, we’ll also cover how to transfer E&O risk, agency law, federal regulations, state regulations and the Unfair Trade Practices Act.  We’ll also discuss how to handle new business, existing business and servicing existing business. We’ll give additional focus to specific topics including proposals, delivering the new policy, keeping the policy current, certificates of insurance, cancellations and non-renewals, agency relationships, duties owed and surplus lines.
