In this four-part course, we will discuss in detail how to minimize E&O claims in the daily operation of an insurance agency.  Starting with agency E&O basics, we’ll also cover how to transfer E&O risk, agency law, federal regulations, state regulations and the Unfair Trade Practices Act.  We’ll also discuss how to handle new business, existing business and servicing existing business. We’ll give additional focus to specific topics including proposals, delivering the new policy, keeping the policy current, certificates of insurance, cancellations and non- renewals, agency relationships, duties owed and surplus lines.    

Success tip: 
Get the book prior to the class, read through it, make notes, and jot down questions. This will enable you to use your time in class as a review and ask questions of the instructor, giving you additional preparation time and a better understanding of the content.
